The DNM's official visa-regime table lists your nationality as requiring a visa for tourist entry to Argentina, so you must obtain a consular tourist visa before you travel — the authorized stay is a maximum of 90 (ninety) days.
For all visa applications applicants must submit their application with all the necessary documentation at least 45 days prior to their tentative travel date. A Tourist Visa can be applied at any Argentine Embassy or Consulate — it is not mandatory to apply at the place of residence.
To begin the procedure, contact the relevant Argentine Consular Office to make an appointment and submit the required documents in person.
Submit your documents in person and attend the consular interview. The Tourist Visa processing fee is 150 USD (non-refundable).
The consular authority decides on your application. Meeting all the requirements does not guarantee the granting of a visa, which remains at the exclusive option of the Argentine State.
What you'll need
- Visa application form — One set of Visa Application Form (Original) dated & signed by the applicant (preferably filled by computer). All questions must be answered. ✓ verified
- Sworn statement — A sworn statement dated & signed. ✓ verified
- Passport photocopy — Photocopy (on A4 paper only) of your valid passport (first & second page) including valid & expired visas and all stamped pages. ✓ verified
- Two photographs (4 × 4 cm) — Two coloured photographs; must be 4X4CM with white background. ✓ verified
- Proof of economic solvency — Personal bank statement for the last 06 months certified by the bank (with name stamp of bank officer). ✓ verified
- Round-trip flight itinerary — Flight booking for Argentina (it is recommended not to buy the ticket until the visa is granted); the itinerary within Argentina is also required. ✓ verified
- Hotel booking or accommodation — A secure hotel booking with credit card, or an original invitation letter from family/friends in Argentina certified by an Argentine Public Notary and the Colegio de Escribanos. ✓ verified

Apply in person at an Argentine consular office. Tourist visa applications may be submitted to any Consular Office of the Argentine Republic — it is not mandatory to apply in your country of residence.

Gotchas to watch
