The official MFA regime table lists Pakistan ordinary passports as WITH VISA for Albania. Before applying, check the exemptions: holders of a previously-used multiple-entry Schengen, US or UK visa — or a residence permit from one of them — can enter Albania without a visa.
Complete the visa application online while outside Albania, in the official e-Visa system (e-visa.al) — after completion, print and sign the form and upload your supporting documents.
A Consul checks your application form and attached documents. If everything is in order your application is accepted and you are told the fee to pay; if something is missing you are asked to upload the additional document.
Pay the reciprocity-based fee once the Consul accepts your application — for Pakistan ordinary passports the Type C fee starts at €20 (single entry).
After acceptance and payment, the visa decision is made — issuance takes up to 15 days from acceptance of the application, and in exceptional cases up to 30 days.
If approved, the Consul requests your presence to retrieve the visa — bring your passport, all original documents you uploaded, the printed and signed application form and the payment invoice. The accredited mission for Pakistan is the Embassy of Albania in CAIRO/ISTANBUL.

Gotchas to watch
- Your passport must be valid at least 3 months longer than the requested visa and have at least 2 blank pages.
- Obtaining a visa is not a guarantee of entry — border officers make the final decision.
- After a refusal you can reapply only after the appeal procedures have ended, or after three months from receiving the decision.
- Applying from a third country requires proof you have been resident there for over 12 months, plus a copy of your residence permit valid 3+ months beyond the requested visa.
- Fees are reciprocity-based and waived for children under 6.
