Visit (visa-free with US residence): Pakistani citizen in United States → Albania

Although Pakistan ordinary-passport holders normally need a Type C visa for Albania, the official MFA regime table waives it for holders of a valid multiple-entry visa OR a valid residence permit issued by the EU, the United States or the United Kingdom. As a US resident you are exempt — you may enter Albania visa-free, without a visa.
Travel with your Pakistan passport and the document that grants the exemption — your valid US residence permit (Green Card / valid US visa page). The waiver applies only while that US residence permit or multiple-entry US visa is valid.
Present your passport and your valid US residence permit (or multiple-entry US visa) at the Albanian border; you are admitted visa-free and receive your entry stamp for a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Border officers make the final admission decision.

Gotchas to watch
- This visa-free entry depends on your US residence permit (or multiple-entry US visa) being valid for the whole stay — if it lapses you fall back to the normal Albanian Type C visa route.
- The exemption requires a MULTIPLE-entry US visa if you rely on a visa rather than a residence permit; a single-entry US visa does not qualify.
- Visa-free entry still allows a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period — the same short-stay limit as the Type C visa.
- Obtaining visa-free entry is not a guarantee of admission — border officers make the final decision and may ask for proof of funds, accommodation or onward travel.
