As of 15 January 2026, US permanent residence cards ("Green Cards") are valid and sufficient to authorize entry for tourism and business for Chinese nationals without a consular visa; the same applies with a valid US visa on the same terms.
If you do not hold a qualifying US visa or Green Card you need a consular tourist visa. Tourist visa applications may be submitted to any Consular Office of the Argentine Republic; prepare an original and a copy of each required document.
To begin the procedure, contact the relevant Argentine Consular Office to make an appointment and submit the required documents in person.
Attend the consular interview and pay the consular fee of 150 US dollars or euros. Meeting all the requirements does not guarantee the granting of a visa, which remains at the exclusive option of the Argentine State.
