The Serbian MFA's official visa-regime page for China states that holders of ordinary passports need no visa for visits of up to 30 days. No visa or pre-travel authorisation to obtain.
Visa-free entry covers visits of up to 30 days per visit. For longer stays, or purposes like employment or study, a visa (C or long-stay D) is required — check the official page before you travel.
There is nothing to apply for in advance: you present your valid ordinary passport at the border and receive your stay on entry. Keep your entry stamp — your visa-free days count from it.

Where you'll apply

Gotchas to watch
- The visa-free limit is per the bilateral regime published by the Serbian MFA — it can change; re-check the official regime page shortly before travel.
- Visa-free entry is for short visits — for work, study or stays beyond the limit you need a Visa C/long-stay Visa D before travelling.
- Entry is always at the border officer's discretion — carry evidence of your onward travel and the purpose of your visit.
- Hong Kong SAR passports have a separate regime (visa-free up to 14 days) and Macao SAR passports up to 90 days, per the same MFA page.
