Carry a confirmed return or onward air/sea ticket (with a visa for the next destination where needed) and a confirmed seat reservation for your departure flight.
Complete the National Immigration Agency's online immigration arrival card at twac.immigration.gov.tw within seven days before you arrive in Taiwan.
You receive your visa-exempt entry at the border. The duration of stay starts from the day after arrival and is not extendable; you must depart by the end of it. Immigration officers at the port of entry make the final decision.

Gotchas to watch
