Gotchas to watch
- This visa-free entry depends on your US visa or Green Card being valid for the whole stay — if it lapses you fall back to the normal Argentina consular tourist visa route.
- The US-visa waiver applies only to tourism; entering for any other purpose requires the corresponding consular visa.
- A minimum of 90 days' validity of the US visa or Green Card might be required, counting from the moment you enter the country.
- Only the listed US visa categories qualify (B1/B2, B2, J, B1, O, P, E, H-1B) — other US visa types are not covered by the waiver.
