Singaporean citizens living in the United States can visit Taiwan visa-free for up to 30 days — no visa needed; carry a passport valid for at least six months and a confirmed onward ticket, and complete the online arrival card. The process is identical whether you travel from the US or anywhere else.
Short visit to Taiwan under the R.O.C. visa-exemption program — no visa to obtain in advance; you receive your entry stamp at the border and can stay up to 30 days.

Carry a confirmed return or onward air/sea ticket (with a visa for the next destination where needed) and a confirmed seat reservation for your departure flight.
Complete the National Immigration Agency's online immigration arrival card at twac.immigration.gov.tw within seven days before you arrive in Taiwan.
You receive your visa-exempt entry at the border. The duration of stay starts from the day after arrival and is not extendable; you must depart by the end of it. Immigration officers at the port of entry make the final decision.
