Gotchas to watch
- Thailand has approved shorter, country-specific visa-exemption stays, but the replacement rules were still awaiting publication in the Royal Gazette on 16 July 2026. They take effect 15 days after publication β re-check the official policy update immediately before travel.
- Thailand's visa-exemption list and 60-day stay length change frequently β always confirm your nationality on the official Thai e-Visa portal before you travel.
- Visa-free entry is for tourism (and certain business/ad-hoc work), not paid employment.
- All arrivals must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before travelling.
