When to start

Egyptian ordinary passport holders aged 15–45 normally require a consular visa. However, if you hold a valid Schengen, USA, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit, you may instead get a 30-day single-entry e-Visa online. Travellers under 15 or over 45 may obtain the e-Visa without this condition.

Gotchas to watch
- This is a CONDITIONAL e-Visa: Egyptian nationals get the online e-Visa only if they hold a valid Schengen, USA, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit. Without one, you must apply for a consular sticker visa instead.
- Age matters: this condition applies to ordinary passport holders aged 15-45. Egyptian nationals who are under 15 years of age or above 45 years of age may obtain e-Visa without additional contidion.
