Visit (visa-free): French citizen in France → Singapore
French citizens can visit Singapore without a visa — France is not on ICA's visa-required list. Submit the free SG Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival; ICA grants your Visit Pass at the checkpoint.
Short social visit to Singapore without a visa — France is not on ICA's visa-required list, so no entry visa is needed in advance.
- Validity
- Visa-free entry — no visa is issued in advance (France is not on ICA's list of visa-required countries).
- Entries
- Each visa-free entry is granted individually as a Visit Pass at the checkpoint on arrival.
- Max stay per visit
- The length of stay is the Visit Pass ICA grants at the checkpoint on arrival — ICA does not publish a fixed duration in advance, and you must not stay beyond your Visit Pass validity.
When to start
Start 1–14 days before your travel date.
France is not on ICA's list of visa-required countries and places, so French citizens do not need a Singapore entry visa for a short social visit — the visa requirement only applies to travellers holding documents from the listed countries.
Make sure your passport has at least 6 months' validity, and carry sufficient cash and proof of onward travel for your visit.
Submit the SG Arrival Card with the electronic health declaration on ICA's official e-service — it can only be submitted within 3 days (including the day of arrival) before you arrive, and submission is free.
At the checkpoint you present your biometrics for immigration clearance and ICA grants your Visit Pass, which sets how long you can stay — do not stay beyond its validity.

Gotchas to watch
- The SG Arrival Card is not a visa, and it can only be submitted within 3 days (including the day of arrival) before you arrive — you can't do it weeks ahead.
- SGAC submission is free of charge on ICA's official e-service — ICA does not support or endorse commercial sites that charge a fee to submit it for you.
- Visa-free entry is not a guarantee of entry: your permitted stay is the Visit Pass ICA grants at the checkpoint, and you must not stay beyond its validity.
- Your passport needs a minimum validity of 6 months.
