Business entry (Negocios)

Short business visits. Many exonerated nationalities may also enter for business without a visa (per the MFA table's Negocios column); others need a business visa from a Peruvian consulate. Business visitors may not take up paid local employment.

Residence & work (Migraciones)

Longer stays — work, family, study and other residence permits (calidades migratorias) are handled by the Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones once you are in Peru or via a corresponding visa. Andean Community and Mercosur nationals have their own residence routes.

Brazilian citizens do not need a visa to visit Peru — Brazil is on Peru's official visa-exoneration list for ordinary passports, so you enter visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days (extendable once for the same period, within 365 days of first entry). Just carry a passport valid at least six months and be ready to show onward travel and funds at the border.

Peru's Ministry of Foreign Affairs exonerates Chinese ordinary-passport holders from the tourist-visa requirement provided they hold a US (or Canada/UK/Australia/Schengen) visa valid at least six months, or permanent residence there. There is no Peruvian visa-centre step in the United States — you are admitted as a tourist directly at the Peru border. Just carry your passport (valid 6+ months) and your US visa or green card, and be ready to show onward travel and funds.
