By your country of origin you require a visa to enter Peru, so you must obtain a tourist visa at a Peruvian consular office. One exception applies: Chinese and Indian ordinary-passport holders can enter Peru without a tourist visa if they hold a 6-month-valid US, Canada, UK, Australia or Schengen visa, or permanent residence in one of those.
Collect the DGC 005 forms, your passport, a cover letter, a copy of your Aadhar card, a round-trip flight itinerary, a day-by-day plan of activities, hotel reservations, three photographs and proof of financial solvency. Nationals of Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka must also furnish a police clearance certificate.
Visa applications may ONLY be submitted and processed at the Embassy of Peru in New Delhi, in person by the applicant (except for minors). You must submit a valid email ID and phone number registered in your own name. A complete file is acknowledged by an email containing a link to schedule your interview.
After presenting the rest of the documentation at the Embassy premises, a personal interview is scheduled. You may approach the Embassy between 10:00-12:00 hrs Monday to Friday, except government holidays.
Pay the visa cost of 3000 Indian rupees in cash — the Embassy charges no additional fees. The estimated processing time for tourist visas for Indians is 7-10 working days, counted after the personal interview (non-Indian nationals may take around 10 additional working days).
Your visa is valid 183 days and grants multiple entries, but must be used within the first six months of issue. On arrival go to the Migraciones control module — the migration officer stamps the time of stay you are authorised. Your Andean Virtual Migration Card (TAM) is created automatically.
