Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports enter Georgia visa-free under the China–Georgia visa exemption agreement — each stay up to 30 days, and up to 90 days in total in any 180-day period.

Under the China–Georgia visa exemption agreement, Chinese citizens holding valid ordinary passports are exempted from the visa requirement for entry, exit and transit — each single stay up to 30 days, and no more than 90 days in total in any 180-day period.
Since 1 January 2026 every tourist entering Georgia must hold a valid health and accident insurance policy (at least 30,000 GEL, in Georgian or English, covering the whole stay). Entry can also be refused without sufficient funds for your stay and return.
You enter through a border checkpoint with your valid travel document and request permission from the Border Police — they make the final decision on admission and the period of stay.

- Valid ordinary passport of the People's Republic of China — The exemption applies to holders of valid ordinary passports of the People's Republic of China. ✓ 已核实
- Health and accident insurance (mandatory for tourists since 1 Jan 2026) — A valid health and accident insurance policy, in physical or electronic form, in Georgian or English, covering at least 30,000 GEL and the full period of your stay including arrival and departure dates. ✓ 已核实
- Proof of sufficient funds — Evidence of enough money to cover your stay in Georgia and your return — entry can be refused without health and accident insurance or sufficient funds. ✓ 已核实

There is nothing to apply for and no jurisdiction to worry about — entry is granted at the Georgian border checkpoint.
