哥斯达黎加各类签证路径全解析

哥斯达黎加为每种目的都设有对应的签证路径——短期访问(约60个国籍最长可免签停留180天,另有约35个国籍可停留30天;第三组国籍须在哥斯达黎加领事馆申请领事签证,第四组则须申请受限签证),此外还有过境、依据第10008号法律的数字游民停留,以及工作、学习和家庭居留路径。提供经核实指南的路径会直接跳转至指南;其余路径则链接至 migracion.go.cr 官方页面。

Airport transit visa

Nationals of the fourth group — plus a list of third-group nationalities named in the Directrices (including India, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Morocco and others) — need an airport transit visa to change aircraft in Costa Rica. It is applied for at a Costa Rican consulate and stamped in the passport.

Study at a Costa Rican institution is authorised through a student stay or temporary-residence category processed by the Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería; visa-required nationalities also need the corresponding entry visa.

工作与商务

Temporary residence (work, rentista, pensionado, investor)

Longer stays — employment, rentista (stable foreign income), pensionado (pension income) and investor categories — are residence permits processed by the Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería, not visit visas. Requirements and forms are on the official DGME site.

US citizens do NOT need a visa for Costa Rica — the United States is in Costa Rica's first entry group, so US passport holders enter visa-free for up to 180 days. You still need a valid passport, proof of at least US$100 per month of stay, and a return or onward ticket.
