Because you hold a valid US visa or US permanent residence, you do not need a Mexican visa to visit Mexico for tourism, business or transit. Check that your US visa or US Resident Card is valid and unexpired.
If you rely on US permanent residence rather than a US visa, you must present your valid, unexpired US Resident Card together with your passport on entry.
Travel with your passport plus the valid US visa (in the passport) or your US Resident Card. Both documents must remain valid for the whole of your stay in Mexico.
At the Mexican port of entry, present your passport and valid US visa or US Resident Card. The immigration officer admits you visa-free and grants a Visitor Permit (FMM) of up to 180 days for tourism.
