The Republic of Korea is on Taiwan's visa-exemption list with a stay of up to 90 days — no visa is needed for a short visit.
Carry a confirmed return or onward air/sea ticket (with a visa for the next destination where needed) and a confirmed seat reservation for your departure flight.
Complete the National Immigration Agency's online immigration arrival card at twac.immigration.gov.tw within seven days before you arrive in Taiwan.
You receive your visa-exempt entry at the border. The duration of stay starts from the day after arrival and is not extendable; you must depart by the end of it. Immigration officers at the port of entry make the final decision.

- 予約枠は公開スケジュールなしでバッチ単位で解放されます。多くの場合、現地の早朝、月曜日の午前中、毎月1日前後に解放されます。
- 人気のある領事館（大都市のフランス・イタリア・スペインなど）では、新しい枠が数分でなくなることがあります。事前に登録・ログインした状態で確認してください。
- キャンセルにより日中も枠が空くことがあるため、「空きなし」と表示されていても毎日確認してください。
- できるだけ早く申請してください。出発の最大6か月前から申請可能です。1〜2か月前まで待つと、枠がまったく残っていないことがほとんどです。

- The 90-day stay starts the day after arrival and cannot be extended — you must depart by the end of it.
- Visa-exempt entry only applies to formal passports (ordinary, official/service, diplomatic) — emergency or temporary passports need a visa or landing visa instead.
