United Kingdom passport holders with British Citizen status are eligible for Taiwan's visa-exemption program with a stay of up to 90 days — and UK passport holders can apply to extend the stay up to 180 days in total.
Carry a confirmed return or onward air/sea ticket (with a visa for the next destination where needed) and a confirmed seat reservation for your departure flight.
Unlike most visa-exempt nationals, UK (and Canadian) passport holders enter for 90 days and can apply to extend the stay up to 180 days in total — see BOCA's official notice for the extension procedure.
Complete the National Immigration Agency's online immigration arrival card at twac.immigration.gov.tw within seven days before you arrive in Taiwan.
You receive your visa-exempt entry at the border. The duration of stay starts from the day after arrival and is extendable for UK passport holders up to 180 days in total; you must depart by the end of it. Immigration officers at the port of entry make the final decision.

- キャンセルにより日中も枠が空くことがあるため、「空きなし」と表示されていても毎日確認してください。
- できるだけ早く申請してください。出発の最大6か月前から申請可能です。1〜2か月前まで待つと、枠がまったく残っていないことがほとんどです。
