Temporary Resident Visa (economic solvency):アメリカ合衆国 → メキシコ
US citizens working remotely can apply at a Mexican consulate for a Temporary Resident Visa on economic-solvency grounds — show about US$4,393/month income (or roughly US$73,215 in savings), book a MiConsulado appointment, and attend an in-person interview.
Mexico's Temporary Resident Visa granted on proof of economic solvency — the route remote workers use to live in Mexico while working remotely, applied for at a Mexican consulate (SRE).
- 有効期間
- The consular visa lets you enter Mexico and exchange it for a Temporary Resident card; the first card is issued for up to one year and can be renewed for one, two or three more years (up to four years total).
- 入国回数
- The consular visa is used once to enter; the resident card then governs your stay and re-entry.
- 1回の最大滞在日数
- Up to four years total as a Temporary Resident (initial year plus renewals).

知っておくと便利
- This is the Temporary Resident Visa on economic-solvency grounds — Mexico has no separate named 'digital nomad' visa, but remote workers use this route (the employer letter must explicitly agree to your plan to reside in Mexico and work remotely).
- Solvency thresholds and fees vary slightly by consulate; the Orlando consulate lists US$4,393/month income or US$73,215 savings and a US$53 processing fee.
- The processing fee is charged before review regardless of whether the visa is approved; the consulate's decision is final.
- After receiving the consular visa you must exchange it for a Temporary Resident card in Mexico within 30 days of entry.
