The official State of Israel B/2 visa table lists Sri Lanka passports as "Required". Under the official eVisa-B2 pilot, Sri Lanka passport holders residing in Sri Lanka can apply for the B/2 visa entirely online rather than at an Israeli mission.
Gather a travel document valid for at least three months beyond the expiration of the visa, a valid telephone number and email address, a payment card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) for the 105 NIS fee, and all required documents.
Complete the eVisa-B2 application form on the official Israel Entry portal, ensure the information is accurate, pay the 105 NIS handling fee and submit. You must complete the form in one go.
You will be contacted via email within 10 working days. You may be requested to submit additional information or to appear at the nearest Israeli mission for an interview, which can prolong the request.
If approved, the eVisa is sent to you by email — no physical stamp or embassy visit. Bring it when you travel; your entry to Israel is subject to inspection and approval of the border control officer.
