Turkish citizens need a Schengen short-stay visa for France — apply at the France visa application centre and give biometrics.

- The consulate decides how long it lasts. A first or occasional visa usually just covers your trip; the more you travel (with a clean record), the longer a multiple-entry visa you can get — up to 5 years (the EU visa cascade).

Submit your application no earlier than 6 months before your trip, and at least 15 days before you travel.
Applications in Turkey are decided only by the French Embassy in Ankara and the Consulate-General in Istanbul.
Pay the Schengen short-stay visa fee — €90 for adults (reduced for children aged 6–12).
Since 3 July 2022 Turkish nationals are subject to an airport transit visa (VTA) when transiting airside through a French airport to another country, unless exempt.
You may need to book an appointment at the visa application centre before lodging your application.
Attend the visa application centre in person to give your fingerprints and have your photo taken. Some categories of applicant are exempt.

- تتوفّر مواعيد طوال اليوم بسبب الإلغاءات، لذا تحقّق يوميًا حتى لو ظهر «لا توجد مواعيد».
- لذلك قدّم في أقرب وقت مسموح — حتى ستة أشهر قبل السفر. الانتظار حتى شهر أو شهرين غالبًا يعني عدم توفّر أي موعد.
