The Serbian MFA's official visa-regime page for Philippines lists holders of ordinary passports as 'Visas required' for entering Serbia. Check your passport type on the official regime page before planning.
By a 2014 Government decision, holders of national passports with a valid Schengen, UK or EU member state visa, or a US visa — or a residence permit of a Schengen-area country, the EU or the US — may enter, transit and stay in Serbia without a visa for up to 90 days during a six-month period, within the validity of that visa or permit.
Gather the documents: completed application form, a passport valid at least 90 days after your intended departure from Serbia (two consecutive blank pages, issued within the past 10 years), a 3.5x4.5cm photo, proof of purpose, travel medical insurance and evidence of funds. Incomplete visa applications will not be accepted.
Submit the visa application personally to the Embassy or Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia abroad, or online through the official portal for foreign nationals (welcometoserbia.gov.rs). Online submission works exclusively through a registered account on the Electronic Identification Portal (eid.gov.rs).
The visa fee is one of the general visa requirements — pay it when you lodge the application. The amount is not published on the MFA requirements page; confirm the current fee with the Serbian mission or portal when applying.
Serbia issues visas as a sticker affixed to your passport and, since 23 April 2025, also in electronic form as a Digital Travel Authorization where that service is enabled for your country on the welcometoserbia.gov.rs portal. If the conditions for the electronic form are not met, you receive a visa sticker.

- Incomplete visa applications will not be accepted, and Serbian missions reserve the right to request additional documentation.
- A short-stay Visa C is not grounds to apply for temporary residence in Serbia — stays of 90–180 days (work, study, family) need the long-stay Visa D.
- Applying online through welcometoserbia.gov.rs requires a registered account on the Electronic Identification Portal (eid.gov.rs).
- If the Digital Travel Authorization service is not enabled for your country (or its conditions are not met), the visa is issued as a sticker in your passport instead.
- A visa is not a guarantee of entry — border officers make the final decision at the crossing point.
