Nigerian citizens cannot get a Nepal visa on arrival — apply in advance through a Nepalese Embassy or Diplomatic Mission via the official online mission portal (tourist visa 15/30/90 days, USD 30/50/125, multiple entry). Living in the United States, you apply the same way — file the application online on the official Embassy Mission Portal from the US and select a Nepalese Embassy or Diplomatic Mission to process it (for a US resident, the Embassy of Nepal in Washington, D.C. is the natural choice).

Nigeria is on the Department of Immigration's exclusion list: citizens of the listed countries cannot obtain a Visa on Arrival at Nepal's immigration entry points and must apply in advance via a Nepalese Embassy or the online mission portal.
Go to the official Mission Application Portal, select the Nepalese Embassy that will process your application, and complete the visa application form with all required personal and travel information.
Upload your passport copy, photograph, and any supporting documents required by the Mission handling your application.
Follow your Embassy's payment instructions — the method may vary by mission (bank transfer or online). The tourist-visa fee is USD 30 / 50 / 125 for 15 / 30 / 90 days.
The visa is issued by the Embassy — either emailed or collected in person, per mission policy. Use your visa within 6 months from the date of issue.
